YAOS success at the David Beach Awards
Awards for chorus singing and individual performances
SUCCESS AT THE DAVID BEACH AWARDS EVENING
SATURDAY 14 MARCH AT SOMERSET COUNTY CRICKET CLUB
The Society was delighted to receive:
The Award for best Chorus Singing for ‘Sister Act’
Individual Awards went to –
Karen Pankhurst for best Female in a Supporting Role – Mother Superior in ‘Sister Act’
Kat Stevens (Delores – ‘Sister Act’) and Jenny Holland-Brewer (Lucy in ‘Jekyll & Hyde’) for best female in a lead role (awarded jointly) and
Shaun Driver for best Male in a Supporting Role – Gabriel J Utterson in ‘Jekyll & Hyde’
Luke Whitchurch also won best Male in a Lead Role as Harold Hill in ‘The Music Man’ and, along with Sarah Easterbrook, also won the Adjudicators’ Choice for 'The Kiss' in ‘The Music Man’ both for CATS
